A study on the affecting factors of the life satisfaction of the worker with physical disabilities-focused on the comparison of the sheltered employment with competitive employment

Abstract

The major purpose of this study is to find out the degree of the life satisfaction of the physically disabled worker and to find out the affecting factors related to the way of employing the people with disabilities. Research was carried out from the population of 270, which consists of 102 sheltered employments. 168 competitive employments for the disabled. In order to analyze supplied information, multiple regressions by SPSS for Window 11.5 were applied. The main results of the study are as follows. Perception of the disabilities, participation, income, social support, age were factors to the life satisfaction. Perception of the disabilities, participation, income were factors to the life satisfaction of the worker of the sheltered employment. Perception of the disabilities, participation, income, social support, age were factors to the life satisfaction of the worker of the competitive employment
